Of course the last post about our summer should end with a fair.
This was the first time at the fair for Max and Zac. It was also on our list of things we had to do with the boys for their first summer in the States. Zac was and still is, obsessed with tractors and farm animals so he had a blast seeing most of his favorite things and Max was just tall enough to finally go on some rides (when we found that out he was so excited). Anyway, here are the last of the summer photos and then we're into the fall! What am I going to do once we're all caught up?
△Zac wasn't so sure about touching the animals...△
△…but it wasn't hard to convince him that it was ok!△
△A random photo taken by Max when I asked him to hold the camera.△
△Max really wanted to try out one of the games and so we picked an easy game which he won (I think it was impossible to lose, but don't tell him that!). △
△And we still have the toy. It was a Sponge Bob bouncy ball if anyone was wondering.△
△Of course the train was the very first ride that Max picked to go on.△
△He ended up riding in the front with some boys who were nice enough to include him in their fun… even though I think Max was a little weirded out by them.△
△The second ride. Max wasn't too sure about it because the cars kept bumping into him from behind.△
△More animals.△
△A "corn"box.△
△Max decided that he wanted to try the kid ferris wheel. I was actually surprised that he really liked it.△
△Max wasn't so sure about this boat ride, but once the other kids started laughing and having a good time, he realized it wasn't so bad.△
△We had a few more tickets left so Max decided to go on the train and car ride once more.△
△I think Zac was a little jealous of his brother.△
The evening ended with a little bit of beer sampling and fried dough. Can't wait until next year!
