Finally! The very last of our October trip to Scotland.
These photos were taken on our last day in Glasgow. We met up with our friend Davide to go on an easy (and family friendly) hike up a mountain overlooking Loch Lomond. It was a short hike and while it was mostly uphill, Max was amazing. He walked most of the way on his own and only a few times did he ask to be carried a little of the way. Which was totally understandable because I was tired about halfway up. Him and his yellow wellies (his boots were complimented quite often on our way up)!
Anyway, we stopped at a little overlook and of course I took too many photos of the lake. Max took some, but I think he was mostly fascinated with the highland cows and sheep that were roaming the hills. After the trek back down, we stopped at a local restaurant where I got my fish and chips before Davide took us to a more remote location down by the lake.
It was a really nice way to end our stay in Scotland. The week was like a little introduction to a country that we would love to explore more of, in the future. So thanks a bunch for showing us around, Davide! We had an AMAZING time.
Up next, London!!!!!
