D.C. and the Deep Freeze

Here's a quick photo recap of our trip to Washington.

It was the beginning of the "Arctic Blast" so we didn't do a lot of touring.  I think I went out for an hour on this day and did the loop before running back to the warmth of our hotel room.  Lucky for me, it was too cold for the locals (and I guess most of America), but not too cold for us to venture out which meant there weren't any crowds.  I can't imagine what it's like in the summertime, but in the middle of the winter (and the coldest winter EVER), it was us, Abe and about 20 people.  So you know, I think it was a successful introduction to our country's capital.
