The older Max gets, the more fun he is. I mean, he was the most adorable non-sleeping infant that anyone could ask for, but I'm a big kid at heart. Now that Max's showing more interest in museums and playgrounds, I can finally plan to do things that we both like. So when places like the Lego Discovery Center say that adults can only enter with a child, I make Max give me a high five and off we go.
As places went, we weren't really impressed especially for the price, but with all the things that are available for kids to watch and play with, I can understand why a parent would pay almost 20 euros to not really have to watch their child. There's a cafe, a ride, a ninja course and some interactive movies. So maybe if Max was a little older, I would have grabbed a cup of coffee, a yummy treat and sat myself down with a good book.
After Legoland, we head out to find Checkpoint Charlie. On the way there, while Max was napping, we found the Topography of Terror. We viewed that and then off we went to discover Checkpoint Charlie and some delicious curry wurst.
