photographer's note: some of these photos were taken by my "second photographer" (aka Scott). just letting everyone know so that I don't get in trouble for taking all the credit. however, i am the one responsible for nagging the hell out of him to use the camera and take as many pictures as possible. also, while i am married to a biologist, i have no idea what half of these animals are besides the obvious ones (bears, birds, monkeys) so that's why i didn't spend any time trying to figure out and correctly identify each and every one for my viewers.
