Random Monday

So here's a random post.  

Last week Max and I went in search of goats.  I had seen some pretty ones on a run the day before and thought that maybe, just maybe, if we went the next day (before they moved them) I could show Max since he's never seen a goat before (at least not up close).  Unfortunately, once we made it to goat central, they had moved and too far away for us to see them (and for me to take photos).

Anyway, skip forward to an hour later when we finally made it home.  One of our neighbors came downstairs to show us these cute little owls who had decided take up residence in the tree next to our building.  Talk about perfect timing.  I had my camera from our failed attempt at finding goats so of course I took a million photos.  And of course NONE OF THEM CAME OUT.  Apparently these owls did not get the memo that sitting in a tree with sunlight directly behind them was a big time no-no when it comes to portrait taking.  

ANYWAY, fast forward to yesterday afternoon.  I was on the phone with my sister when Scott and Max came back from wherever they had been, to inform me that my little owls were back. Excited, I hung up the phone, grabbed my camera and off I went to shoot another million photos of these guys!
