Mallorca (Alcudia), Spain 2014... The LaPoint's attempt at a beach holiday per my request/demand.
After many years of being told that this was THE place for German's to vacation, we finally decided that this was the year we would just go for it. So as our Mother's/Father's Day/Anniversary present, we booked a one week, all-inclusive trip to the Mediterranean. With the help of a friend and a travel agent, we somehow managed to find ourselves on the most stress-free, lazy holiday ever. Which, for us, is usually impossible. We seem to gravitate towards the historical cities that involve a lot of walking and a lot of touring. This trip was more of a "let's see if we can actually NOT do anything without getting bored" kind of trip and I'm pleased to say it was a success.
I'd like to note that I did not take a lot of photos (you know, vacation mode) so what pictures I do have are mostly from bad weather days (because what else was I suppose to do?) and some are from my iPod camera (again, vacation mode/laziness). I would also like to note, that somehow, we are fortunate to have the most popular, outgoing (especially with the ladies), easy traveling child who flies like a pro and is as excited about visiting new places as we are. Such a cool little dude.
△this was taken during a hail storm. i think max's expression says it all△
△we were lucky to have the beach across the street and a small park/playground next door△
△apparently playgrounds are dangerous for children 30 and up… that was a bitch to pick out△
△scott and max looking for fish△
SUCH a cool little dude.
