I may hate swimming in the ocean, but I LOVE aquariums! I was really excited to find out that Lisbon had an excellent one, and even more excited that this would be Max's first experience with sea creatures. We took him to the zoo at 6 months, and while every first time parent would like to think that at half a year they're kid will go bonkers for the first animal that he or she sees, Max's reaction (the normal one) was more of an 'eh'.
Fast forward four months to the first moments that we walked onto to top viewing floor of this three story tank. Max was FLOORED. The poor kid was exhausted by the end of it because every room was more exciting then the last. Talk about a sensory overload of awesome.
Anyway, sorry it's been slow getting posts up, but we've been busy around here. Soon things should
quiet down, and I can get back to posting more regularly. Until then, enjoy!
