Introducing...

20130308

I decided to start something called "flashback Friday."  Going through my inventory of 121,309,112,903,848+ photos, I realized that most of those were for Kathy's eyes only (as I write this line I think of Charlize Theron, Mr. F and how amazing that would be if they brought her character back for the new episodes of Arrested Development) or bb (before blog).  So, I devised a plan to put some of these pictures on the blog because otherwise, there's no justifying the waste of precious hard drive space...

It's been fun going through my old photographs and seeing how terrible my camera was and how terrible I was at taking pictures, but I guess that's what makes these memories so great!  And keep in mind people, that some of these are a bit dated so they may not be formatted for professional viewing.  They may, however, be formatted for fun viewing.  So without further ado, let's get this shiznit started and see how long it takes before I run out of "flashback" photos.

And cue the Hangover quotes...

These pictures go waaaaaayyyyyyy back.  Like 2008 back.  Like Scott and I were babies back.  We were living in Northern California at the time and decided that for our anniversary, we would road trip it to Vegas for a week.  I still, to this day, can't believe that Scott agreed to travel to the desert of all places!  Maybe this is why we haven't been to someplace warm since...

I don't remember much of the trip.  Just the important things like FREE ALCOHOL and how amazing the food was.  Oh, and that it was over 100 "American" degrees.  So, yeah, hot.  Thank goodness for  crazy cold air conditioning and the fact that a majority of the hotels were connected.  If they weren't, I think Scott would have melted halfway down the Vegas strip.

I still want to go back someday with a group of friends and rediscover Las Vegas.  Until then, I've got the photos and at least a hazy memory of what went down on that vacation.  No "floories" for this wolfpack.

^I don't take many food photos, but this meal was worth remembering.^
