Seenarrentreffen (Meeting of carnival clubs)

Today marks the beginning of Carnival week and it started in good old Markelfingen with a parade.  Even though the weather was super cold, and I froze my butt off in the process, I managed to capture the event with quite a few pictures.  The outfits were amazing and the cross-dressing men were fabulous.  It was a celebration that even I, who HATES the winter and everything about it, couldn't miss.  So bundled up in a million layers and armed with a camera, we waited in breathless (because of the cold) anticipation...
